TRADEIT Invites you to explore the process of New Product Development and Intellectual Property Rights for Food Producers next Monday in the Sólás Building in IT Tralee's North Campus. Click Here for the full AGENDA

This workshop, which is part of the 'Growing Enterprise in Kerry' 4 week programme, brings together leading experts in the fields of NPD & IPR, including Eddie O'Neill, Artisan Food Specialist with Teagasc, Moorpark, Mary McCarthy from the Food Business and Development Department at UCC, Maurice O'Brien, ITT Hotel, Catering and Tourism Department and Mary Flynn from the Irish Patents Office.

After a light lunch, the focus will shift to the the protection of food ideas. There are huge opportunities for traditional food companies to work together to bring new products to the market and patents, trademarks, copyright and branding can all play a part in protecting your food idea. Jonathan Dawson from Bia Ganbeise will talk on their experience in contract production.

In addition Mary Flynn from the Patents Office will be available for 10 minute one-to-one sessions from 15.00 to 16.00. Please email Michael directly to book one of these slots.
