TRADEIT & Comhchoiste Gealtachta Chiarrai Theas are delighted to invite you to a workshop focused on Branding, Labelling and Marketing of Traditional Foods, which takes place next Tuesday 15th March 2016 from 14.00 to 17.30 in Oifig an Chomhchoiste, Ceann Eich, between Waterville and Caherciveen in South Kerry.

This workshop will focus on the development of effective branding for traditional food products. Along with discussing what might look good on a label, we will also discuss what must be on the label with a strong eye on recent regulatory changes in this area. Marketing traditional food products will also be a key feature of this workshop, with a number of alternative and innovative food marketing strategies up for discussion, including Geographical Protections for Foods (PDO/PGI/TSG) 

Local Artisan Dairy producer Joe Daly will be on hand to discuss his experience in establishing Valentia Island Farmhouse Dairy
