Do you make a traditional product or a food that people associate with Ireland/a region?

|
If so, this e-mail is to remind you that there is a TRADEIT workshop next Monday, April 27th, at the Institute of Technology Tralee which may be of interest to you. The workshop is focused on European Commission Quality Designations (PGI, PDO and TSG) which promote and protect food names that are linked to a particular region/country or that are traditional in nature. So if you produce a traditional product like black pudding or soda bread, or a product associated with a particular area such as a particular type of meat, cheese or bread (eg the Waterford Blaa), you should find the workshop of use. The workshop will provide you with practical, usable information about quality designations, the advantages and pitfalls in applying for quality designation status and the application process itself. For more information visit the TRADEIT website. REGISTER NOW
